Irina Atrokhova
Deputy Director
Atrokhova is an honours graduate of the Russian State University for Humanities (2002, Faculty of Law, History and Political Science). In 2008 she obtained her PhD from the Military University of the Russian Ministry of Defense where she taught criminal procedural law since 2002.
From 2008 to 2012 Irina worked as a senior lecturer and was Head of the Legal Clinic (a consulting university centre for free legal aid for students, staff, and citizens) at the Russian State University for Trade and Economics, Rostov. Since 2002 she worked as a legal counsel in different private companies in Moscow and other regions of Russia.
In 2010 Atrokhova received advanced training in Quality Management Systems for higher education. In 2011 Irina was trained in special issues of law and law enforcement at the Russian Academy of Justice at the Supreme Court and the Higher Court of Arbitration.
Irina is the author of many reviews and research articles on legal matters, particularly in criminal and civil justice and human rights protection by means of procedural law. Atrokhova developed and taught post-graduate training courses on state procurement systems for the Russian Federation, and on legal matters for small businesses.
