In 2000 Kirill obtained a specialist degree in law at the Mudryi Ukraine National Law Academy. In 2008 he completed a Master in International Economy/Management of International Business at the Vadim Getman Kyiv National Economic University, and in the same year defended his Ph.D. thesis 'Guarantees of Financial Institutions as a Method of the Civil Protection of the Civil Relations Participants’ Rights and Interests'.

In 2014 he successfully graduated from a Mid-Career Master in Public Administration, Edward S. Mason Program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

During the period from 2001 to 2008 he worked at the commercial bank 'PrivatBank' (the largest commercial bank of Ukraine) in different positions – junior lawyer, mid-level lawyer, senior legal adviser of the Head Office. Also from 2006 through 2013 he was active as a fellow, senior fellow (international private law and contemporary law department) at the Scientific Institute of Private Law and Business Research of the Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine.

In 2008 – 2013 he worked as a full-time personal scientific adviser to the Justice, Vice-President of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.

Through 1998 – 2013 he was a member of organising committees and lecturer of numerous student summer schools in law, both national and international.

Kirill’s key areas of professional interest are international finance, economic analysis of law, WTO law, regulatory policy in money circulation and the financial services markets.
