The Institute at the 6th China Antitrust Policy Forum

September 2nd & 3rd saw the 6th China Antitrust Policy Forum held in Shanghai. Institute representatives - director Alexey Ivanov, and chief research officer Iaonnis Lianos, and research fellow Yu Kiang - all took part in the Forum in continuation of the research work of the Institute regarding regulation of the markets of the BRICS countries.

Alexey made a presentation on legislative initiatives and best practices in the field of pharmaceuticals. In particular, he focused on issues of patent protection, performance, and their correlation with innovative development. Ioannis talked about the global value chains in the context of food issues in the BRICS markets.
