The Institute's Agenda at the Legal Forum
At the annual St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, held on May 15-19, the Institute's staff actively participated in the track "New Challenges: New Competition Policy", organised jointly with FAS Russia.
In particular, the director of the Institute, Alexey Ivanov, took part in the plenary session "New Challenges: New Competition Policy", in panel discussions, including "The Correlation Between Intellectual Property Protection and Antitrust Law" and "Global Economic Concentration". Leading Researcher of the Institute, Ioannis Lianos also spoke at the session "Digital Economy and Cartels". Discussions at the Forum were a logical continuation of the Institute's expert work on the Bayer-Monsanto case and participation in the The Fifth Antimonopoly Package.
The St. Petersburg International Legal Forum (SPBILF) is a unique international event that unites leading experts in the field of law. The Forum was established in 2011 and is supported by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and the President of the Russian Federation.
