Internship at the Vienna University of Economics

Institute Chief Research Fellow Maxim Bashkatov just recently completed an internship in the Research Institute of the Economic Law of Central and Eastern European Countries at the Vienna University of Economics. The internship was part of a specialised scholarship program; the Ernst-Mach-Stipendium of the Austrian Academic Exchange Directive (OeAD). This scholarship is one of the most prestigious grant programs in the Republic of Austria and is awarded on merit from the results of a competition involving global researchers specialising in different fields. At the Vienna University of Economics, Maxim conducted a study on the impact that inflation has on the legal regulation of economic relations and the principle of nominalism in monetary obligations.
