Institute Staff at Financial Law Conferences

In the framework of the III Moscow Legal Forum "Development of Russian Law: new contexts, and problem solving" leading researchers of the Institute Maxim Bashkatov and Ekaterina Galkova made April 8 reports at the conference "The banking system and the banking market in new economic conditions". Galkova delivered a presentation on "the financial market and competition", highlighting the current trends in the field of foreign regulation of protection of competition in the financial sector. Maxim Bashkatov spoke about topical issues of regulation of requirements of loan agreements, which has become one of the most popular financial instruments at present. In particular, he described the nuances of Russian and foreign court practice, as well as potential problems in the area of the proposed changes to civil law.

Ekaterina Galkova also presented on April 7th, within the framework of the symposium forum "Entrepreneurship and Law: German as the language of business communication" with a report in German on "share guarantees in a comparative legal perspective", in which she addressed some theoretical and practical issues of the use of this method, widely used in various fields of investment.
