HSE-Skolkovo Institute for Law and Development to Take Part in St. Petersburg International Legal Forum Discussions

From 14 to 17 May 2019, St. Petersburg will host the 9th St. Petersburg International Legal Forum. Alexei Ivanov, director of the HSE-Skolkovo Institute for Law and Development, will speak at the plenary session “Digital Economy —  New Challenges, New Solutions.”

 

The session, which will be attended by Igor Artemyev, head of Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service; Alexandre Barreto de Souza, president of the Administrative Council for Economic Defence of Brazil; Juliana Latifi, chairperson of the Competition Authority of Albania; Janis Lianos, professor of the University College London, chief research fellow of the HSE BRICS Antimonopoly Centre; as well as others, will discuss technological development trends, their impact on economic growth, as well as the transformation of antitrust regulation and the adaptation of regulatory approaches to the new realities.

 

Alexey Ivanov will also speak at the following sessions: “Digital Cartels as a Challenge to Antimonopoly Regulation” and “Intelelctual Property and Antimonopoly Regulation.”
