Mufti Muhammad Taki Usmani: “This is a very good project. It will be beneficial both to Russia and Muslim countries. The idea is very good, but in order to implement it, you need to study all the issues related to it very deeply and find a structure that, on the one hand, will comply with Sharia standards, and on the other, will be beneficial for both sides."

In second place on the list of TheMuslims500 is Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei - Iran’s leader from 1989 to present day, and among others, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and of Pakistan - Imran Khan, of Azerbaijan - Ilham Aliyev, of Turkmenistan - Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and of Chechnya - Ramzan Kadyrov.
